More Christmas Fever

Since my last post, we finished all the cards and they were delivered by four of the cutes little Elves. The Nusing home we visited was wonderful. The residents were so sweet. They even sang along with us some Christmas Carols.
Well I  hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and are looking forward to a blessed Christmas and a Jesus filled New Year.

Here are a few more samples of the cards I made. Enjoy!

Have a very Merry Christmas and remember "JESUS IS REASON FOR THE SEASON"

Christmas Fever

Greeting All,
I have been a very bad blogger. It has been so long since I posted. But I have been busy. I have met the most amazing women in the world. They are card makers and we have so much fun working together. One of the ladies has never crafted before and she is so excited. She is learning to make cards, mini books and other crafts. SHe wants to buy everything she sees, but we are making sure we share with her some of our supplies until she is sure she likes it.
We have been challenging each other with different techniques and too things we find on line or at craft shows or card parties we attend. It is so amazingly FUN.
Well, we are now in Christmas Card mode. Each person was ask to make twenty five Christmas card and we will share them with a local Nursing Home. I like making cards early because I have so many to make. But I love it. I will share some of my cards with you and hope they will inspire you to get your cards made early. I will also share some of my new crafts creations wih you.
I am also doing some Knitting and crochet. I even bought a knitting loom. That thing is so much fun. I volunteer at my grandsons school. He is in the first grade, and I am knitting Christams gifts for them. I am slowly running out of time. Christmas is just sround the corner.
Well enough chatter. Here are a few of my card creations. Have found a new product called Guilders Paste and am using it on paper. It is fantastic. Have a Happy weekend and remember Jesus loves you!

Happy Thursday!

Hi Everyone, it's been awhile and I have been busy. Went through a dryspot there after the holidays, but now I have my creative MOJO back and I am on a roll. Just wanted to post some of my lastest projects. I have been so inspired by Kathy at Paper Phenomenon and Laura over at Follow the Papertrail that I am on a roll. They are both such talented designers and I am so Inspired by them. With Fundraisers for school, birthdays, teacher gifts and you name it I will have many opportunities to craft.
My crafting friends and I plan to attend the Scrapbook Expo in Pleasanton,CA. on the 17th and I am so excited I can hardly wait. Will let you know about that when I recover from the excitment of it all. I have a wish list that is about a mile long. Pray for me that I don't go overboard. LOL.
Will here are a few pix's of what I have been working on.

These photoes are of a cute little Display Box. Very cute Idea and I love the way the cover becomes base for the book to stand up.

This Photo Box Home Deco piece was from Follow the Paper Trail. I used the beautiful Tradewind Paper from Die Cuts with a View. That paper is so beautiful, it was hard to cut into it. But I am so glad I did the box came out so wonderful. I have plans to make more. This one is for a school fundraiser. I love making things to donate. Try it...it makes you feel so good inside. Say a little prayer over the item that it will bless the organization and the family that receives the item.
Don't want to take too much of your time so until next time. Have a blessed day. And remember : Jesus loves you and so do I.

Here is our sweet Christmas gift. Aiden Dominic. Another Grammy  pride and joy.

Did I mention we were blessed with a new baby boy for christmas. Baby Aiden Dominic was born on December 16th at 5:45pm,weighing in at 8#8 oz. and 21 inches long. What beautiful baby. Mommy and baby doing great. Got to spend christmas spoiling him. Below is a picture of our new family member. Well have a blessed day and enjoy the project. Please leave comments. Happy New Year!

Happy 2012! I pray your 2011 had some good times, some learning times, some relaxing times and somes times to remember and some times you will want to forget. All those things will make us strong.
It has been a while since I last posted but I have been busy. I volunteer one day a week at my grandson's school and also do some paper crafting outside of school for the teachers. So great to be with the kids and watching them grow into great little people. They are all truly a joy.
Some great surprises rounded out 2011 for me. A new grandson, Aiden Dominic, born, December 16th. Weighing in at 8# 8 oz. and 21 inches long. He is just perfect. We thank God for an early Christmas present. Spent ten days with him, making sure he was good and spoiled before I returned home.(HEHEHEHEHE!) Also on New Years eve, my daughter and son-in- love surprised us (the parents) by having an official wedding. It was soooooo beautiful. A very small ceremony, outside, with just the family and the Golden Gate Bridge in the background. We give thanks to the Father for all the many blessings of 2011. And look forward to being more of a blessing to all those we come in contact with in 2012.
Well, let me show you a few of the things I have been working on. Will post more later. In the mean time.... Have a JESUS filled new year.

The" WORD" in Pink

Greetings to all,
Today I am sharing a mini I just completed for a dear friend who is fighting Breast Cancer. If you know someone who is also in this fight, you are fully award of the good days and the rough days. So this mini doesnot contain pictures, but the Word of God. "He sent His Word to Heal". Almost every page and every tag has a scripture of encouragment. I know she will be blessed by these words and healed by them also.

So be blessed and take courage. And let's all  pray for a cure.
Always in His service,
Barbara Lee
